How should I spend my preparation time? (International Mongering)

Advertising?  Perusing advertisements (whether they be on the internet, in a newspaper, or on one of those sexy business cards) CAN work, but it can be very risky, very costly, and it isn't for everyone.  Keep this in mind… whenever possible, you should back up advertisements with actual reviews.  Scouring the ads is what you do when all else fails.

How about WORD-of-MOUTH? Basically, we're talking REFERRALS here. A good referral from a friend or business associate can be very valuable.  However, these referrals are often for professional services.  Think about it.  Who’s going to refer you to their girlfriend they plan to see again?  On the other hand, if their girlfriend has a friend you may have found an excellent source of leads.  WOM can definitely be a good thing. 

So what about SOCIAL MEDIA? If you’re starting from scratch in your search for an erotic encounter there is no better place than SOCIAL MEDIA.

The question should not be, "Which social media site is best?" The question SHOULD be "HOW can I use and leverage multiple social media sites to give me more choices from my search?"

Why is Preparation SO IMPORTANT? (International Mongering)

PREPARATION will be the key to your success.  This is especially the case if you’re traveling internationally. In this blog, I’m advocating a dating type relationship - one that needs a little anticipatory cultivating.  Anyone can find a “pay for play” opportunity but, if you can begin your search for a willing partner in advance – a month, two weeks, even one week, you can find a non-pro and you’re going to benefit in the following ways:

You’ll be able to plan your encounters to be more CONVENIENT.  With preparation, convenience takes many forms.  You’ll be able to plan from home with a secure and familiar internet connection.  If you have a choice of partners, you’ll be able to research their locations and determine which makes the most sense for you.  You may also be able to adjust your hotel room or schedule to better suit your needs.

You’ll save TIME.  As you know, with either work travel or personal travel, time is a precious commodity.  Spend your time on preparation at home instead of scrambling around trying to force something to happen in a foreign country.  Always remember that lack of time can result in impulse (or bad) decisions.

You’ll be more SAFE.  Safety should always be in the forefront of your mind.  Remember that impulse decisions can be dangerous.  In your preparation, you will be able to vet the unscrupulous people you might meet without preparing.  More importantly you’re more likely to find a safe sex option. 

You’ll be able to think with your BRAIN.  We all know that even with the best intentions, there are circumstances where your common sense is lost and your you-know-what takes over the thinking process.  Preparation will serve to minimize that little head mentality and allow you to make decisions with your big head.

You’ll save MONEY.  In the end it all comes down to money.  Having a choice, using your time wisely, vetting your potential partners, and making sound decisions all contribute to the best use of your money.  Ideally you will spend little more than the cost of a meal.  But impulse decisions can lead to desperation, which leads to overspending.

REMEMBER preparation is the key to your success.  You wouldn’t interview job candidates without first reviewing their resumes, right?  You wouldn’t but a car without first test driving it, right?  Therefore, don’t go mongering without identifying your potential partners and vetting them a little bit.  Happy hunting and may you FSA!

Is Your Asian Massage Parlor (AMP) Doing More Than Massage (Local Mongering)

Ever wonder if that massage parlor down the street is offering more than massage?  Ever wonder if those ads in your weekly newspaper (showing beautiful young Asian gals) deliver what they allude to?  Or are you just looking for a place near home or work to relieve some of your stress?  Read on for a three step, practically fail-proof, method of answering your questions.

First though, if you haven’t done so, you’ll need to find your local AMP.  I want to emphasize that I use the term AMP or Asian Massage Parlor loosely.  Depending on where you live, there may be AMP-like opportunities with non-Asian workers.  There are plenty of Hispanic massage places and probably a few African ones as well.  It is very rare however to find a white American massage parlor that offers anything more than a strict massage. 

To find your local AMP you can do a number of things. 

First, there’s word of mouth.  Obviously if a friend or acquaintance has visited a place and recommended it, that is your best bet.  Second, as mentioned above, there are weekly newspapers – a majority of which will let massage parlors advertise.  Third, you may have driven by an AMP, seen the phone number on its window and wondered hmmmmmm?

If you have a phone number out of an advertisement or off a storefront window, that’s all you’ll need for my “practically fool-proof” method of determining if your AMP is providing happy endings.  This is a simple three-step process that we’ll keep as simple as possible.

1)      Call the phone number to your prospective AMP and listen to whoever answers the phone.  Is English her second language?  If so, chances that you’ve found an AMP providing more than massage are 33%.

2)      Next, ask how late they are open.  If the answer is later than 8:00 PM, your chances that this is an AMP providing more than massage are now 66%

3)      Finally, ask if you need an appointment or if you can just walk in.  If the response is that you can just walk in, you’ve found your AMP…99% anyway.

The theory of this simple three-step process is that (a) these places are almost all populated with non-English speakers, (b) no self-respecting legitimate massage place stays open past 8:00, and (c) any legitimate massage place will most likely require an appointment.
